Background Information:
Gambling addiction is a growing concern in many communities, leading to financial hardships, broken families, and personal suffering. Daily gambling activities can become a destructive cycle that harms individuals and those around them. The Bible teaches us the importance of wise stewardship of our resources and warns against the love of money. In Proverbs 13:11, it says, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” Gambling can lead to hasty and reckless decisions that can have detrimental consequences.
